Inspired by Actual Events Dustin's Software Development Cogitations and Speculations My observations and thoughts concerning software development (general development, Java, JavaFX, Groovy, Flex, ...). Clicked on the G2 shortcut and the application opened without any errors. As the screen snapshot demonstrates, there is no "1.8" area under "Java Runtime Environment" as there is for "1.6", "1.7", and "1.9".
Also, I still have access to the downloaded archive file from which I installed JDK 9 and could use it again if so desired, but I think I'll be more likely The Java installer will set these keys up for you. Click Save. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
